About Us
Who we are
At Lightyn, we support women who are carrying more than most people can see. Balancing work, family, relationships, and daily life often means managing an invisible mental load. Remembering appointments, keeping track of schedules, anticipating needs, and holding everything together for everyone else. We’re told we should be able to “do it all,” but in reality no one can, nor should they have to.
That weight is constant, and it can be exhausting.
Lightyn exists to help lighten that load. We provide dedicated household managers—called Lights—who step in to support the details of daily life so the mental weight does not rest on you alone.
Our Story
Hi, I’m Jessica, the founder of Lightyn.
Lightyn grew out of my own experience carrying more than anyone could see. Even with supportive people around me, the invisible mental load of family and daily life still fell on my shoulders. It meant remembering appointments, anticipating needs and keeping everything running smoothly. I know what it feels like to be capable and driven yet weighed down by the responsibility of remembering and organizing every detail.
I also know how isolating it can be, and how guilty we can feel for needing help. I created Lightyn to offer a different kind of support: human, steady and sustainable, so women don’t have to carry it all alone.
Our Lights step in to share your mental load, giving you peace of mind and space to focus on what matters most.
I hope Lightyn brings you the same sense of ease and permission to breathe that it has brought me.

Our Mission
Our mission is to give women back their peace of mind by carrying the invisible load alongside them. We believe support should be human, reliable and built for real life, so you never feel like you have to carry everything on your own.
A Light is not your average household helper
A Light goes beyond checking off errands or responding only when asked. They quietly set up and maintain the systems that make home life run smoothly—calendars, schedules, reminders, vendor lists, and routines. They anticipate needs before you have to articulate them, follow up on loose ends, and organize recurring details in a way that fits your family’s rhythms. Think of a Light as someone who manages the underlying framework of your household life, so you don’t have to hold everything in your head or build those systems yourself.
Clear, Thoughtful Communication
Support should never add confusion.
Lights prioritize clear, consistent communication so you do not have to repeat yourself, chase updates, or wonder what is being handled. You can trust that details are understood and followed through with care.
Attention to the Details That Matter
The mental load lives in the small things.
Lights pay attention to the details that often live in your head, from reminders and timelines to preferences and routines. This level of care helps reduce the constant mental juggling of daily life.
Reliable, Supportive Problem Solving
Life does not always go as planned.
Lights are trained to help navigate changes, solve problems calmly, and adjust when things shift. You are supported by someone who thinks ahead, adapts, and helps keep things moving without adding stress.
