Job Description
As a Light, you have the direct line with our clients. This is a key role in achieving Lightyn’s mission. Your job is to provide solutions in improving the lives of our clients. Your day-to-day job might look something like this:
- Schedule appointments for clients
- Ensure that everyday tasks are completed
- Organize the celebration of the client’s milestones
A positive attitude and a person whose mission is to be of service to others is essentially what we’re looking for in becoming a Light. However, we recognize that individuals have different characteristics and different ways of contributing to a shared goal. For this reason, we ask potential Lights to take the D-I-S-C Assessment to give us an idea what kinds of tasks can we give to a Light depending on their personality.
We would like to hire Lights with a background in virtual assistance. Nonetheless, Lightyn hires individuals from different walks of life.
Detail Oriented and Highly Organized– having the right information means that we can provide an accurate solution for our clients
Works well with a given concept – at Lightyn, we let individual Lights do their own thing and we encourage them to think outside of the box when complex challenges arise
Demonstrated knowledge in using Google Suite, Zoho, and Slack
Preferably has a background in Virtual Assistance (scheduling appointments, organizing calendar, etc.)
Has a good command of the english language (oral and written)
Has a working laptop with access to a microphone, webcam, and stable internet connectivity
People Oriented – you will be speaking with clients on a regular basis. You should be comfortable with conversing with people (via e-mail or calls)
Problem Solver – we believe that there are no challenges that are too big or too small
Growth Mindset – we want our Lights to believe that they can improve on their skills if they are willing to learn.
